Managing Your Tasks Tab

The dedicated Tasks tab lets you view a list of all your tasks so you can easily manage them for your business. This feature lets you view, create, edit, search, and filter your Tasks.


Step 1: Create a Task


  • Navigate to Contacts >Tasks


  • Click “+New Task” in the top right corner



  • Fill out the popup that appears:



  • Tasks can also be added using automation, such as workflow triggers and actions.


Step 2: Managing Your Task List


  • Search by a Task name in the search bar, found in the top left corner
  • Use the dropdown options in the top right corner to filter tasks by various criteria, including due dates and assignees.
  • Use the “Unassigned” option in the contact filter to view tasks not associated with a specific contact.



  • Check the box on the left side of the Tasks to select multiple and apply bulk actions.
  • You can mark it as complete pending or delete multiple tasks simultaneously.



  • Click the 3-dot dropdown menu to manage one Task individually
  • You can mark it as complete, edit it, or delete a task in this way.



  • Contactless Tasks - Internal Tasks for Your Team


  • You can create and delegate tasks to your team members without associating them with a contact. This enhancement simplifies the management of general business tasks, allowing you to assign them to team members as easily as required.

  • Standalone Tasks: You can now create and assign tasks to team members without needing a contact. This means you can set up tasks independently, making it easier for project management.
  • Create Tasks Independently: Access the Tasks List View and click “+New Task” to set up tasks that aren’t linked to contacts.
  • Manage Task Associations: You can assign or remove contacts from tasks directly in the Tasks List View.
  • View Unassociated Tasks: Use the “Unassigned” filter to see tasks that don’t have any contact linked.

  • Create a Task Without a Contact
  • Navigate to the Tasks List View:
  • Go to the dedicated Tasks tab.
  • Click “+New Task” in the top right corner.

Recurring Tasks

Recurring tasks allow users to automate task creation at specified intervals, streamlining processes by reducing the need to manually create repeated tasks.


Users can configure the following:


  • Frequency: Set the task to repeat at intervals (hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly).


  • End Date:


  • Never: Task continues indefinitely.
  • Custom Date: Set a specific end date for the recurrence.
  • After Set Occurrences: Task repeats for a fixed number of times.


  • Create Even if Overdue: New tasks are created on schedule, even if previous ones are incomplete.


  • Create/Update: Create a new task or convert an existing task into a recurring one.


  • Edit: Apply changes to all future occurrences or a single instance.


  • Delete: Remove all future tasks in the series or just one occurrence.


  • Restore: Recover deleted recurring tasks if needed.


How to Use: To create a recurring task, go to the Tasks, Contacts, or Companies page, add a new task, toggle on the recurring option, and set the recurrence interval, assignee, and other details. Click save to begin the recurrence.
